Sitting Lady Falls – Witty’s Lagoon Regional Park
Hike to Witty’s Beach
For the 2024 Victoria Tango Marathon outdoor adventure, we will take you on a 2.6km (option of 3.9km) hike to a nearby beach.
The hike goes through our lush rainforest and features the beautiful Sitting Lady Falls, Witty’s Lagoon bird sanctuary, and Witty’s Beach that offers spectacular panoramic views of the Olympic Peninsula mountains and the strait of Juan De Fuca.
This adventure is included at no cost as part of the marathon pass and includes transportation to and from the trail head. We will also provide you with some snacks and fun actives to do on the beach (Frisbee, Bocci Ball, Music…)
IMPORTANT: This activity requires an official pre-registration by March 31st 2024.
Registration will be completed through the PARTICIPANT QUESTIONNAIRE (to be sent as of late February to all confirmed Marathon participants).
ABOUT THE HIKE
Witty’s Lagoon Regional Park is a short 30 minutes drive from Victoria
Drop off for the 2.6km (there and back) hike will be at the Sitting Lady Falls Trail Head (Red)
Optional Drop off at the Green Trail Head if you want to add an extra 1.4km hike through the forest.
Return Pick-up will be from the Sitting Lady Falls Trail Head (Red) for everyone.
